Prevention of Frozen Pipes

The Town of Walden recommends to start dripping your water to prevent pipes from freezing:

When temperatures drop below freezing, water pipes-especially those exposed to cold air or located in unheated areas—are at risk of freezing. Frozen pipes can burst, causing significant water damage and costly repairs. One commonly recommended precaution is to let your faucets drip slightly during periods of extreme cold.
